Page 1: Questionnaire to assess the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic on the process and nature of mediation in the UK

The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information from mediators about their experience of the process of mediation during a global pandemic. It asks about the changes in the process of mediation in a period where much business was suddenly conducted in a virtual environment.  The questionnaire also contains some brief questionnaires about the nature of your organisation.

The questionnaire has been sent to mediators in the United Kingdom who undertake workplace and/or employment mediation as part of their work.

This research forms part of a research project being carried out by Cardiff University in conjunction with the CMC. Aggregated results from the survey will be shared with the CMC.  Participation in this research is entirely voluntary and all information will be treated in the strictest confidence; neither you nor your organisation will be identified.  You may withdraw your participation at any time and for any reason.

Whilst we would appreciate as full a response as possible, you are free to omit questions you do not wish to answer or for which you do not readily have information.

We are keen to also gather qualitative data on the impact of the current crisis on the work of mediators and would ask that you consider being interviewed by a member of the research team at a time to suit yourself.  If you would be interested in taking part, please contact include your contact details below:

Thank you in advance for completing the questionnaire and assisting with the research. If you have any queries, please contact Dr Deborah Hann at Cardiff University: HannDJ@Cardiff.ac.uk
